1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you", or "your") and Cook and Re DWC-LLC ("Cook & Re", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Dubai South, United Arab Emirates.

By accessing our website or placing an order for our timepieces, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or purchase our products.
2. WHO WE ARE
Cook & Re creates Swiss-made mechanical timepieces for men who choose challenge over comfort. Our watches are not mass-produced status symbols. Each piece is limited to 50 units maximum, featuring the Sellita SW270-1 movement with power reserve complication — a daily reminder that your time is finite.
We are not for everyone. We are for conquerors only.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from Cook & Re. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under UAE law.
3.2 Geographic Availability
We ship worldwide. International orders are subject to customs duties and import taxes in your jurisdiction, for which you are solely responsible.
4. PRODUCT INFORMATION
4.1 Accuracy of Information
We take extreme care to ensure all product descriptions, specifications, and imagery accurately represent our timepieces. However:
- Photographs may show slight variations from the actual product due to lighting and screen settings
- Every watch is individually crafted; minor variations in finishing may occur
- All technical specifications are accurate as of the date published
4.2 Limited Editions
All Cook & Re timepieces are produced in extremely limited quantities (maximum 50 pieces per reference). Once sold out, models may be discontinued. We reserve the right to discontinue any model at any time.
4.3 Country of Origin
All Cook & Re timepieces are Swiss-made featuring authentic Sellita SW270-1 movements manufactured in Switzerland. Case components are manufactured to Swiss standards and assembled in Switzerland.
4.4 Authenticity Guarantee
Every Cook & Re timepiece is:
- Swiss-made with authentic Sellita SW270-1 movement
- Supplied with a unique serial number
- Accompanied by official documentation verifying authenticity
- Covered by our warranty as detailed in Section 11
We do not sell, have never sold, and will never sell counterfeit or replica timepieces.
5. PRICING AND PAYMENT
5.1 Currency
All prices are displayed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and United States Dollars (USD). You may select your preferred currency during checkout. Prices in each currency are set independently and may not reflect exact real-time exchange rates.
5.2 Price Accuracy
- Prices shown on the website are the final prices you will pay in your selected currency
- We will never charge more than the advertised price (this would violate UAE Consumer Protection Law)
- If we discover a pricing error after you place an order, we will notify you immediately and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel with a full refund
5.3 Price Protection
If we offer a discount or price reduction within 30 days of your purchase, you are entitled to a refund of the price difference in the currency you paid. Contact us at conquerors@cookandre.com within 30 days of the discount announcement to claim your refund. This demonstrates our commitment to the brotherhood — no one who acted decisively should be penalized.
5.4 Payment Methods
We accept payment via the following methods processed securely through Stripe:

All cards must have sufficient funds and be authorized for international transactions if you are purchasing from outside the UAE.
5.5 Payment Security
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store or have access to your complete card details. Your payment information is encrypted and transmitted securely using industry-standard SSL technology with 3D Secure authentication for additional fraud protection.
5.6 Payment Authorization
By providing payment information, you:
- Authorize us to charge the full amount shown at checkout in your selected currency
- Confirm that you are the authorized cardholder or account holder
- Confirm that funds are available to complete the transaction
- Represent that all payment information provided is accurate and current
5.7 Failed Payments
If payment authorization fails, your order will not be processed. We will notify you by email and hold your reservation for 48 hours to allow you to update payment information or use an alternative payment method. After 48 hours, the reservation expires and the watch returns to available inventory.
6. ORDER PROCESS
6.1 Order Placement
When you complete checkout and submit payment:
- You make an offer to purchase
- You receive an automatic order confirmation email acknowledging receipt (this is NOT acceptance of your order)
- We review your order and verify payment
- We send an order acceptance email within 24 hours
- A binding contract is formed upon our order acceptance
6.2 Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:
- Suspected fraudulent transactions
- Pricing or product description errors
- Product availability issues
- Failure to meet eligibility requirements
- Violation of these Terms
If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund within 7–14 business days to your original payment method.
6.3 Order Modifications and Cancellations
Once an order acceptance email is sent, the order cannot be modified. You may request cancellation, but we cannot guarantee accommodation. If cancellation is accepted before shipment, a full refund will be issued. Once shipped, our Return Policy (Section 10) applies.
6.4 Reservation System for Pre-Orders
For upcoming models or new releases:
Email Reservation:
- You may submit an email reservation expressing interest in a future production
- Reservations are processed on a first-come-first-served basis (timestamp order)
- Reservation does not guarantee the right to purchase
- No payment is required to reserve
Allocation Process:
- When production is confirmed, we contact reservations in sequence (earliest first)
- You receive an email notification that your reserved timepiece is ready for purchase
- You have 24 hours from notification to complete your purchase
- If purchase is not completed within 24 hours, allocation passes to the next reservation in sequence
No Obligation:
- Email reservation creates no obligation on either party
- You may decline the purchase opportunity when contacted
- We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our sole discretion
7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
7.1 Shipping Coverage
Fully-insured express delivery worldwide is included with every order. All shipments are handled by reputable international logistics providers including Aramex, DHL, and FedEx, fully insured for the declared value. We select the optimal carrier based on your destination to ensure secure, timely delivery.
7.2 Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times worldwide: 2–5 business days from order acceptance.
These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs clearance, public holidays, security screenings, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for carrier delays beyond our control.
7.3 Tracking
You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. You are responsible for monitoring the tracking and ensuring someone is available to receive the package.
7.4 Shipping Insurance
All shipments are fully insured for their declared value. In the event of loss or damage during transit, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and will replace your timepiece or issue a full refund at our discretion.
7.5 Customs and Import Duties
For international orders outside the UAE:
- You are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by your country
- These charges are NOT included in the product price
- Customs charges vary by jurisdiction and are determined by your local customs authority
- Refusal to pay customs charges or failure to collect your package does not entitle you to a refund
- For specific customs information, consult your local customs office before ordering
7.6 Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information. Ensure the delivery location is secure.
7.7 Delivery Failure
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect shipping address provided by you
- Refusal to accept delivery
- Failure to respond to carrier delivery attempts
- Absence during delivery without arranging redelivery
You will be responsible for additional shipping costs to re-ship the order. If you request a refund after failed delivery, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
7.8 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address you provided. Once delivered and signed for, the watch is your responsibility.
7.9 Force Majeure
We are not liable for shipping delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, pandemics, carrier strikes, or acts of God.
8. INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY
8.1 Immediate Inspection
Inspect your timepiece immediately upon delivery—ideally in the presence of the courier.
8.2 Damage or Defects
If you discover:
- Shipping damage (damaged packaging, physical damage to watch)
- Manufacturing defects (visible flaws, movement malfunction)
- Missing items (warranty card, documentation, accessories)
7.6 Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information. Ensure the delivery location is secure.

- Incorrect shipping address provided by you
- Refusal to accept delivery

- Document with photographs (packaging, watch, any defects)

- Accept the package (do not refuse delivery)—report the issue to us afterward
We will arrange for inspection and, if confirmed, provide replacement or full refund as appropriate. All shipping costs for returning defective products are covered by Cook & Re.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 Ownership
All content on our website and all design elements of our timepieces are owned by Cook and Re DWC-LLC or our licensors, including:
- Trademarks: Cook & Re®, logomarks, brand names, taglines
- Copyrights: Photography, text, graphic design, website code, product descriptions
- Design rights: Watch designs, dial patterns, power reserve indicator design, case architecture
- Trade dress: Overall brand presentation and aesthetic
9.2 Restricted Use
You may not:
- Reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content from our website
- Use our trademarks or brand elements in any manner without written permission
- Create derivative works based on our designs
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or download website content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to replicate our products
- Use our intellectual property for commercial purposes
9.3 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include any right to resell or commercial use of our website or its contents.
9.4 Infringement
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action and is a violation of UAE Federal Law No. 11 of 2021 (Industrial Property Law) and Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 (Copyright Law).
10. RETURN, EXCHANGE, AND REFUND POLICY
Your rights under UAE Consumer Protection Law are preserved and cannot be waived.
10.1 Standard Returns (Non-Defective Products)
7-Day Return Window: In accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 (E-Commerce Law), you have the right to return any product purchased online within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery for any reason, subject to the conditions below.
Conditions for Standard Returns:
- Watch must be unworn and in pristine, as-new condition
- All original packaging, boxes, documentation, warranty cards, and accessories must be included and undamaged
- Protective stickers and seals must be intact and unbroken
- Watch must show no signs of use, wear, sizing, or adjustment
- Bracelet/strap must be in original, unmodified condition
Return Process:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery via email at conquerors@cookandre.com with:
- Order number
- Reason for return (optional but appreciated for product improvement)
- Photographs clearly showing the watch and packaging condition
- We will provide return authorization and shipping instructions within 24 hours
- Ship the watch back using fully insured, tracked shipping
- Return shipping is covered by Cook & Re (we will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse shipping costs up to AED 250 for fully-insured, tracked shipping)
- We inspect the watch within 3-5 business days of receipt
- If the return meets all conditions, refund is issued within 7-14 business days to your original payment method in the currency you paid
Refund Amount:
- Full product price refunded in your payment currency
- Original shipping costs refunded (shipping was included, so no deduction)
- Return shipping costs covered by Cook & Re (up to AED 250 / USD 70 for insured tracked shipping)
Returns That Cannot Be Accepted: We cannot accept returns if:
- The watch has been worn, even briefly
- Bracelet has been sized or strap has been adjusted
- Protective stickers or seals have been removed
- Original packaging or documentation is missing or damaged
- Watch shows any signs of use, handling marks, or wear
- Return is requested after the 7-day window has closed
- Watch has been damaged due to misuse or accident
If a return is rejected for not meeting conditions, the watch will be returned to you at your expense.
10.2 Defective Products and Warranty Returns
If your watch has a manufacturing defect or malfunction, your return rights are NOT limited to 7 days. Warranty coverage is detailed in Section 11.
For defective products at any time during warranty:
- Contact us immediately at conquerors@cookandre.com
- Describe the defect with photographs or video if possible
- We will arrange free return shipping (fully covered by Cook & Re)
- We will inspect and either:
- Repair the watch at no charge
- Replace with an identical watch (if available)
- Replace with a comparable model (if original model is discontinued)
- Refund the full purchase price (if repair/replacement is not feasible)
All costs for defective product returns, inspection, repair, and return shipping are borne by Cook & Re.
10.3 Exchange Policy
We do not offer direct exchanges due to the extremely limited nature of our production (50 pieces maximum per reference).
If you wish to exchange for a different model:
- Return the original watch per Section 10.1 (within 7-day window)
- Place a new order for the desired model (subject to availability)
We cannot hold or reserve alternative models during your return process. Limited editions operate on first-come-first-served basis.
10.4 What Cannot Be Returned or Refunded
The following are NOT valid grounds for return or refund:
- Change of mind after wearing the watch (even briefly)
- Buyer's remorse after the 7-day return window has expired
- Size or fit preference after you have sized the bracelet or worn the watch
- Cosmetic preference (color appears different than expected) after the 7-day window
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, strap wear) after extended use
11. WARRANTY
11.1 Warranty Coverage
Cook & Re warrants that your timepiece will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months (2 years) from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers:
- Movement malfunction due to manufacturing defect or faulty components
- Case or crystal defects (cracks, structural failures, coating defects not caused by wear)
- Crown, pushers, or other component failures due to manufacturing defect
- Dial or hands defects (misalignment, loose components, manufacturing flaws)
- Bracelet or clasp defects (broken links, clasp failure not due to wear)
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, strap wear, case polish wearing, patina development)
- Damage from misuse, accidents, impacts, drops, or excessive force
- Water damage if the watch's water resistance rating was exceeded or crown was not properly secured
- Damage from unauthorized service, repairs, modifications, or third-party tampering
- Accuracy variations within manufacturer specifications (±5-10 seconds/day for mechanical movements)
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration) occurring after delivery
- Loss, theft, or damage caused by third parties
- Strap or bracelet wear from regular use
- Damage caused by exposure to magnets, chemicals, or extreme temperatures
11.2 Warranty Service Process
To make a warranty claim:

- Order number or watch serial number
- Detailed description of the defect or malfunction
- Photographs or video clearly showing the issue
- We will evaluate the issue and provide shipping instructions for return (at our expense)
- We will inspect the watch to confirm the defect is covered under warranty
- Upon confirmation, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the watch at no charge to you
- Replace with an identical model (if available)
- Replace with a comparable model (if original is discontinued)
- Refund the full purchase price (if no other option is feasible)
All shipping costs for warranty service are covered by Cook & Re (both to us and back to you, fully insured).
11.3 Warranty Period Extension
UAE Legal Requirement - Automatic Extensions:
If your watch is under repair for any period, the warranty period is automatically extended by the duration you are without use of the watch.
Example: If your watch needs a 30-day repair at 18 months into the warranty, when your watch is returned, you have 30 additional days added to your remaining warranty coverage.
11.4 Warranty Validation Requirements
To receive warranty service, you must:
- Provide proof of purchase (order confirmation, invoice, email receipt)
- Provide the watch with an authentic Cook & Re serial number
- Confirm the watch has not been serviced or modified by unauthorized parties
Warranty is void if:
- Watch has been opened or serviced by non-authorized service centers
- Serial number has been altered, removed, or is illegible
- Proof of purchase cannot be provided
11.5 Geographic Coverage
This warranty is valid worldwide.
For warranty service:
- Within GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman): Contact us and we arrange pickup at our expense
- International: Ship watch to our Dubai service center (shipping to us is your responsibility; return shipping to you is our responsibility, fully insured)
We will provide authorized service center information for your region when available. Currently, all warranty service is performed at our Dubai facility or authorized Swiss service centers.
11.6 Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty is your exclusive remedy for defects. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, we make no other warranties, express or implied, except as required by UAE Consumer Protection Law.
Nothing in this Section limits your rights under UAE law, including your right to repair, replacement, or refund for defective products as mandated by Federal Law No. 15 of 2020.
12. PRODUCT RECALL AND SAFETY
12.1 Notification Obligation
In compliance with UAE Consumer Protection Law, if we discover any defect that could pose a safety risk or significantly impair the functionality of our timepieces, we will:
- Immediately notify the UAE Ministry of Economy and relevant authorities
- Notify all affected customers by email and phone (if available)
- Cease sales of affected models immediately
- Post notice on our website
- Initiate a recall program offering free repair, replacement, or full refund
12.2 Your Cooperation
If we issue a product recall:
- Please respond promptly to our notification
- Stop using the affected timepiece immediately
- Follow our instructions for return or service
- We will cover all costs associated with the recall (shipping both ways, repair, replacement, or refund)
- No documentation of defect or proof of issue is required—recall notice is sufficient
12.3 Recall Rights
In the event of a recall, you are entitled to choose:
- Repair at no charge
- Replacement with identical or comparable model
- Full refund of purchase price
All costs are borne by Cook & Re.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
13.1 What We Are Liable For
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:
- Personal injury or death caused by our negligence or defective products
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of consumer protection rights under UAE law
- Product defects causing personal harm
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law
13.2 What We Are NOT Liable For
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, we are NOT liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses, including:
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Loss of revenue or anticipated savings
- Damage to reputation
- Loss of data
- Wasted management or office time

Losses caused by your actions:
- Misuse of the timepiece contrary to instructions
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions
- Exceeding water resistance ratings
- Damage from accidents, impacts, or negligence

Third-party failures:
- Shipping carrier negligence (though we assist in claims)
- Payment processor issues beyond our control
- Customs delays or seizures
- Acts of third parties (theft, vandalism)
- Delays in delivery caused by force majeure events or circumstances beyond our control
- Subjective disappointment or aesthetic preferences after the return window has closed
13.3 Maximum Liability Cap
Our maximum aggregate liability to you under these Terms, for any and all claims arising from your purchase, shall not exceed two times (2X) the purchase price you paid for the timepiece in your payment currency.
This cap does NOT apply to:
- Liability that cannot be excluded under Section 13.1 (personal injury, fraud, etc.)
- Claims covered under product liability laws
- Statutory consumer rights under UAE law
13.4 Time Limitation
Any claim against Cook & Re must be brought within two (2) years from the date you discovered (or should reasonably have discovered) the issue giving rise to the claim.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, fires)
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, riots
- Government actions, embargoes, sanctions, import/export restrictions
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
- Strikes, labor disputes, or workforce shortages
- Supplier failures or manufacturing disruptions
- Transportation disruptions or carrier failures
- Power outages, telecommunications failures, or internet disruptions
- Acts of God or other unforeseeable events
If a force majeure event occurs:
- We will notify affected customers as soon as reasonably possible
- We will use commercially reasonable efforts to resume performance
- If performance is delayed beyond 90 days, either party may cancel the affected order with a full refund (if payment was made)
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable regulations of Dubai South Free Zone.
15.2 Informal Resolution First
Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at conquerors@cookandre.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to:
- Responding within 24 hours (business days)
- Working in good faith toward resolution
- Escalating to senior management if needed
Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication.
15.3 Formal Dispute Resolution - Hybrid Approach
For claims valued at AED 25,000 or less:
You may choose between:
- Option A: Filing a claim in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Option B: Submitting the dispute to binding arbitration under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC)
The choice is yours.
For claims valued above AED 25,000:
The dispute must be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC):
- Seat of arbitration: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Language: English
- Number of arbitrators: One (for disputes under AED 100,000) or three (for disputes AED 100,000 and above)
- Governing law: UAE law as specified in Section 15.1
- The arbitrator's decision is final and binding
Why this approach: Small disputes (most common) give you flexibility to choose the forum you're most comfortable with. Large disputes use arbitration for efficiency, expertise, and finality.
15.4 Consumer Protection Rights Preserved
Nothing in this Section limits your rights under UAE Consumer Protection Law to:
- File complaints with the UAE Ministry of Economy - Consumer Protection Department
- File complaints with Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP) - Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism
- File complaints with any other competent UAE regulatory authority
- Pursue any remedies available under UAE consumer protection laws
These consumer protection channels are always available to you regardless of the dispute resolution mechanism chosen.
15.5 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by UAE law, you agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to bring claims as a class action, consolidated action, or representative action.
15.6 Costs
For informal resolution or regulatory complaints: No costs to you.
For court proceedings: Costs are determined by the court according to UAE law.
For arbitration:
- For claims under AED 25,000 (if you choose arbitration): We will cover your arbitration filing fees
- For claims over AED 25,000 (mandatory arbitration): Arbitration costs are allocated per DIAC rules
16. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
16.1 Privacy Policy
Your personal information is collected, processed, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.

16.2 Key Data Protection Principles
In compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law - PDPL):
- We collect personal data only as necessary to process your order and provide customer service
- We use your data only for order fulfillment, shipping, customer service, and warranty service
- We will NOT use your personal data for marketing purposes without your explicit, opt-in consent
- We will never sell your personal data to third parties
- You have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data
- You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
- We store data securely and retain it only as long as legally required (minimum 5 years for transaction records per UAE regulations)
16.3 Your Rights Under PDPL
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold

- Submit chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith after receiving products
18.2 Consequences of Violation

- Permanent ban from future purchases
- Legal action to recover damages and seek injunctive relief

19. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
19.1 Right to Modify
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

- Material changes will be notified by email to customers with active orders or recent purchases
- Changes become effective on the date specified in the notification (minimum 7 days notice for material changes)
19.2 Effect of Modifications
